Hotel Magenta Florence

The staff at the hotel were exceptionally responsive and helpful. They were welcoming and made us feel right at home. the room was very nice and clean, and the bathroom was spacious and clean as well. Additionally, the hotel is conveniently located near the train station, making it easy to explore the city and catch trains for day trips.

One downside of our stay was the noise from the neighboring residential flats, which played loud music until the early hours of the morning. This made it difficult to get a good night's sleep.

The location is unbeatable, with the hotel situated along the river and just a few blocks away from the famous Ponte Vecchio. It's really close to the city center, within walking distance of Florence's main attractions, and close to the historic center. The staff was very friendly and helpful, assisting us in locating sightseeing areas and recommending local restaurants.

First of all, the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. They made us feel right at home and were always available to assist with any queries or requests. the location of the hotel was absolutely perfect. We were just a short walk away from all the major tourist attractions, making it super convenient for exploring the city. Plus, there were plenty of restaurants and cafes in the area, so we never had to worry about finding a good place to eat.

this was not a major issue for us, as we were out and about exploring the city most of the time.

Comfortable place, newly furnished rooms. All the services were fantastic here. The location was UNBEATABLE, within easy walking distance of a pedestrianized square. Lovely restaurant provided local dishes.

Not very clean bathroom, Wi-Fi was rather slow, we were a little disappointed.

Staff were efficient, everything was good, the location was ideal and very close to center. The room was well-organised and bright, with a lot of attention to detail. I got excellent breakfast with a cappuccino, omelette plus sausages.

They even made us coffee in the middle of the night and provided complimentary bottles of water. The cleanliness of the hotel was impressive, and the highlight was their friendly "housedog" Donny. If I ever return to Florence, I will definitely choose this hotel again!

One drawback was the lack of English TV channels, especially news like BBC. Another disappointment was the false information about the shuttle to the airport mentioned on their website, resulting in an unexpected taxi expense.
